John Whitson - RealtyLink of Alabama

John is a graduate of Emory University with a B.A. in Economics and in Psychology. In 1997, he obtained his MBA with a focus in finance and real estate from The University of Georgia in 1997 with an MBA focusing on finance and real estate.

From 1997 to 2007, John has worked with AIG Baker Shopping Center Properties, L.L.C. During his tenure at AIG Baker, John was responsible for the development of over two million square feet of shopping centers in a region that spread from South Carolina to Nevada. Additionally, John served as the Director of Outparcel Development from 2003 to 2006. In this position, John was responsible for the development or sale of over $50 million of excess property.

John has completed development projects for the following tenants: Target, Wal-Mart, Kohls. Home Depot, Lowes, Best Buy, Circuit City, PetsMart, Michaels, SteinMart, Old Navy, T.J. Maxx, Marshalls, Ross, Sportsmans Warehouse, Books-A-Million, Ulta, Chili's, Panera Bread, Chick-fil-A, McDonald's, Blockbuster Video, Verizon Wireless, Wachovia, Regions Bank and a range of other tenants.

John has been a resident of Birmingham for 10 years and is married with two children.
