Mary studied financial management at Clemson University from 1980 to 1984 prior to her employment with Palmetto Federal, a Savings Bank based in Aiken, SC.

During her tenure at Palmetto federal from 1984 to 1996, she held various positions including Branch Supervisor, Secondary Marketing Coordinator, Quality Control Auditor, Consumer/Commercial Credit Analyst/Underwriter and Branch Manager.

In 1996, Mary joined Wyatt Development where she assisted the developers with the preparation of market maps and site acquisition due diligence. The following year she transferred internally to Wyatt Realty Inc. to handle outparcel dispositions for the Wal-Mart SuperCenter developments.

In 2001, Mary founded Dufour Properties, Inc. and was given the exclusive right to market WRS Inc.'s Wal-Mart outparcels.

Mary has successfully completed transactions with the following companies: Chick-fil-A, Fire Mountain, Applebee's, Chili's, O'Charley's, Bennigan's, Arby's, Pizza Hut, Burger King, McDonald's, Ruby Tuesday, Bank of America, NBSC, First Citizens, First Bank, Cato, Shoe Show, Blockbuster, Radio Shack, Smithfield Chicken 'N BAR-B-Q, Fatz Cafe, Wendy's, Mellow Mushroom, Zaxby's, Sonic Drive-In, Steak 'n Shake, Waffle House, Tire Kingdom, Discount Tire and numerous others. Since her real estate career began, she has closed over $48 million in sales and leases.

Mary is married with two children and lives in Aiken, SC.
